In addition to their 6" High Clearance No Torsion Bar Drop kit, BDS is now offering all the great features in their 4" suspension system. The 4" High Clearance No Torsion Bar Drop system offers more ground clearance and better protection than all other kits on the market!

The two main high clearance crossmembers are locked together by the differential skidplate and a passenger side support creating a subframe built to handle any abuse you can throw at it. Combine these features with the CNC machined steering knuckles, bump stop relocation system and gas shock upgrade options and you have a system that stands above anything available on the market today, except of course the BDS 6" System. The kit gives clearance for up to 35" tires and carries the BDS exclusive, No Fine Print Warranty.

Coldwater, MI—July 30, 2010——Owners of 2011 Ford Super Duty F-250 and F-350 4wd pickups can now lift their trucks with BDS Suspension's newly released lift kits ranging in height from 1 to 6 inches. Both standard and 4-Link systems are available along with many other upgrades.

Pro-Ride coil springs are supplied that are capable of full coil bind as well as specifically designed springs for gas vs. diesel motors. These systems are available with either rear block kits or new Glide-Ride rear leaf springs. The heavy duty track bar relocation bracket is designed to match the steering angles of the supplied dropped pitman arm to maintain the factory steering geometry.

Radius arm drop brackets are included to restore the O.E. caster angles in the standard kit while a frame mounting bracket replaces the OE radius arm bracket in the 4-Link kit to increase ground clearance. The 4-Link kit offers less than 1 degree of caster change through wheel travel giving you better on and off road control. Massive 2.5” O.D., greasable, urethane control arm bushings are included with these kits. Two-inch O.D. x 0.250” wall DOM tubing is used to make these extremely rugged control arms.

Coldwater, MI—March 10, 2010—BDS Suspension has released a 6” High Clearance system for the 88-98 K1500 and K2500 6-Lug 4wd and the 92-98 Tahoe, Yukon, and Suburban 6-Lug 4wd. The lift kit’s one piece cross member is made from 1/4” steel with internal supports. They can handle about any abuse you can throw at them. The extreme high clearance design ensures that you won’t get hung up on anything compared to most other kits on the market.

Unlike many ‘88-98 knuckle kits on the market, this system does not increase the track width. The knuckle design combined with the crossmembers and upper A-arms offer improved geometry and reduced stress on the ball joints compared to other systems available.

New heavy-duty upper greaseable A-arms are included to improve tire clearance as well as allow for the zero track width change. The steel differential skid plate is used to lock the front and rear cross members together as well as offer increased off road protection. CNC machined replacement steering knuckles allow the system to ensure OE steering geometry while reducing installation time when compared to an older style drop down bracket kit. Our knuckles are 100% resonant frequency tested as well as random X-Ray tested to ensure a quality product.

The rear is lifted with either a 4” block and Add-a-leaf kit or new BDS Glide-Ride Leaf springs. The BDS rear leaf springs feature bolt style leaf alignment clamps, anti-friction pads, and tapered leafs.

Coldwater, MI—March 1, 2010—2000-2006 1/2 ton 4wd Tahoe, Yukon, Suburban, Avalanche and Escalade owners can now lift their vehicles with the new BDS Suspension 4.5” high-clearance suspension system. This new system eliminates the need to drop the torsion bars by integrating a new front torsion bar mount with the front lower A-Arm. The one piece cross members are made from 1/4 steel with internal supports.  They can handle about any abuse you can throw at them.

The extreme high clearance design ensures that you won’t get hung up on anything compared to most other kits on the market. The steel differential skid plate and front skid plate are used to lock the front and rear cross members together as well as offer increased off road protection.

CNC machined replacement steering knuckles allow the system to ensure OE steering geometry while reducing installation time when compared to an older style drop down bracket kit.  Our knuckles are 100% resonant frequency tested as well as random XR tested to ensure a quality product.

The rear is lifted with 3.5” coil spacers, track bar relocation, and bump stop extensions.

Improved geometry is achieved with ductile iron, CNC machined steering knuckles which are supplied to ease installation as well as work perfectly with the new BDS crossmembers. There is no change in turning radius, and the system works with the factory stability control system.

The rear is lifted with BDS Pro-Ride coil springs that are capable of being smashed totally solid and still coming back to normal ride height. In addition, rear bump stop extensions and control arm relocation brackets are included to properly lift the rear of your Dodge.

Coldwater, MI—January 25, 2010—BDS is proud to release the new 4-Link 4.5" long arm system for the '07-10 Jeep Wrangler. This system is a true symphony of off road performance and on road handling. The 4-Link long arm system offers improved caster angles which provides excellent steering control for on road handling as well as high speed off road use. Disconnect the sway bars with the BDS Ultimate disconnects and you’ll see the system really perform. The re-buildable and greasable flex arms allow the suspension to flex over any obstacle while the track bar relocation systems help to reduce body roll as well as properly match the steering angles.

In order to offer this type of extreme flex, the BDS Pro-Ride coils were designed to be able to fully collapse and still return to their original height. Repetitive off road use won’t even phase these coils springs! Braided, stainless brake lines with Kevlar lining are included to enhance braking performance as well as allow for extreme wheel travel.

This complete system also includes a forged dropped pitman arm for reduced steering angles, bump stop extensions, rear sway bar relocation and easy to follow installation instructions.

Coldwater, MI—January 12, 2010—BDS Suspension is now shipping the 2009-2010 2WD F150 6” High-Clearance suspension system. This High-Clearance IFS system is a true blend of performance, appearance and function. Maintaining the OE control arm movements ensures an OE style ride with a desert racing appearance. These crossmembers blend perfectly with the lower control arm angles to give a truly OE appearance.

Combine the HC geometry with the custom valved off-road struts and this system is hard to beat. Unlike the spacer kits on the market, the BDS system comes with custom struts that are made to handle the increased forces of larger tires and wheels to offer a factory like ride on road and still handle those off road excursions. Unlike most systems on the market, the rear kit includes an offset spring plate to shift the axle back to the center of the wheel well ensuring those 37’s will have plenty of room. The complete system is available in our traditional Granite powder coating or a textured black powder coating. Optional rear 9500 series rear gas shocks are also available.

These kits feature a one piece high clearance crossmember made from ¼ steel and internal supports. They are built to withstand anything you can throw at them. The extreme high clearance design ensures that you won’t get hung up on anything compared to most other kits on the market.

The steel differential skid plate is used to lock the driver’s side front and rear cross members together as well as offer increased off road protection. An additional cross member support is included on the passenger side creating an unstoppable sub-frame.  CNC machined replacement steering knuckles allow the system to ensure OE steering geometry while reducing installation time when compared to an older style drop down bracket kit. Our knuckles are 100% resonant frequency tested as well as random XR tested to ensure a quality product. Braided, stainless steel, Kevlar lined front brake lines are included to increase braking performance as well as allow additional length.  The rear lift options include a block and add-a-leaf or a full new rear leaf spring.

2-1/2” Leveling Kit – 2009 Ford F-150 2/4wd

Coldwater, MI—January 9, 2009—BDS Suspension has released a 2.5” leveling kit for the 2009 F-150 2/4WD pickup. This system includes a new upper strut mount as well as pre-load spacers. The use of a pre-load spacer increases performance in cornering as well as offsets the increase weight of larger tires to maintain a quality ride. Unlike most systems on the market, the two piece system does not max out the upper ball joints during suspension travel. A 1" rear block kit is available to maintain a slight rake if desired.
